Recently, I’ve been getting back into running. I did Cross Country at my school in the fall, but since then I had only run a handful of times. Now, however, because I will not be participating in Cross Country over the school year, I have started to run again because besides gym and riding my bike, it is the only source of exercise I get. Running in the early morning is my favorite, although I try to run at any time of day I can.
This is a story that leads up to this gift, and the story begins with me running. It’s late July, at around 9:30 a.m., but it was at least 80°F. It was one of the first days for me back at running, so obviously I was dying. My face was most likely red as a tomato, and I was probably running at a turtle’s pace. Continue reading →
